چکیده
Since gravitational and electromagnetic waves from a compact binary coalescence carry independent information about the source, joint observation is important for understanding physical mechanisms of emissions. Rapid detection source localization wave signal are crucial to be successful. For with high signal-to-noise ratio, it even possible detect before merger, which called early warning. In this letter, we estimate performances warning neutron-star black-hole binaries, considering precession effect orbit, near-future detectors such as A+, AdV+, KAGRA+, Voyager. We find that can localized in $100 \,\mathrm{deg^2}$ on sky $\sim 10$--$40 \,\mathrm{s}$ time merger once per year.

Gravitational Radiation from Mergers of Black Hole–neutron Star Binaries
Angular momentum loss via the emission of gravitational waves must eventually drive compact binaries containing black holes and/or neutron stars to coalesce. The resulting events are primary candidate sources for detectors such as VIRGO and LIGO. We present calculations of gravitational radiation waveforms and luminosities for the coalescence of a black hole-neutron star binary, performed in th...
متن کاملHost galaxy identification for binary black hole mergers with long baseline gravitational wave detectors
The detection of three black hole binary coalescence events by Advanced LIGO allows the science benefits of future detectors to be evaluated. In this paper we report the science benefits of one or two 8km arm length detectors based on the doubling of key parameters in an advanced LIGO type detector, combined with realisable enhancements. It is shown that the total detection rate for sources sim...
متن کاملOn Discovering Electromagnetic Emission from Neutron Star Mergers: the Early Years of Two Gravitational Wave Detectors
We present the first simulation addressing the prospects of finding an electromagnetic (EM) counterpart to gravitational wave detections (GW) during the early years of only two advanced interferometers. The perils of such a search may have appeared insurmountable when considering the coarse ring-shaped GW localizations spanning thousands of deg using time-of-arrival information alone. We show t...
متن کاملNonlinear Gravitational-wave Memory from Binary Black Hole Mergers
Some astrophysical sources of gravitational-waves can produce a “memory effect,” which causes a permanent displacement of the test masses in a freely-falling gravitational-wave detector. The Christodoulou memory is a particularly interesting nonlinear form of memory that arises from the gravitational-wave stress-energy tensor’s contribution to the distant gravitational-wave field. This nonlinea...
